I was born in Kingston 11. 7th of 8 kids. My father was a carpenter, my mother a street vendor.
I survived welts across my back, gunshots and hurricanes. I was terrible in school.
I was bathed by the sun, scraped by the concrete, and healed by the salted seas.
Join my journey — giving voices to the boys and girls where I'm from, letting them know it's all beautiful.
I protected my heart. And I made it out.
